I am the mom of two amazing children, a wife and former high school mathematics teacher. 
 
After my first child was born, I took my passion from teaching in the classroom back home. I had the idea to create a book that would assist in my children’s learning through the excitement of directly associating colors with their favorite Saratoga Springs landmarks.  The reaction and excitement my children have shown over this book encouraged me to expand my original intention. 
 
I am excited to share "A Colorful Way to Learn & Play Saratoga Springs" with our community and the many visitors whom we host.  I hope this book not only proves an exciting learning aid now, but a future keepsake for the wonderful memories your family makes in this remarkable city.







The inspiration for my second book came again from my children.  This time the nervous, anxious feeling of my oldest headed to kindergarten.  I wondered if we dedicated enough time to things he would see and hear.  I wanted him to be confident and know he had a safe place to discuss things he saw in the world around him.  I wanted to have an authentic experience discussing character-defining concepts.... and so "A-Z Who To Be?" evolved!
